What is grad skool doing to me?
Lately I've been wondering a lot about what it would have been like if I was a grad student at UCLA. Berkeley is great; it just feels like I'm not qualified to be here. I wonder if it's any easier elsewhere, probably not.

PR for stats is really bad, ain't it? I guess no one can really imagine what I'm even learning in my classes, especially my theoretical stats one. Stats ain't just numbers and getting a PhD in stats ain't easy either, not that I would know...
