frances' first day out

Frances goes outside for the first time in over a week.

In what normally is a nonchalant 10 minute brisk walk to her office in Evans, it turns into an epic adventure of 2.5 hours. It seems like all her muscles have deteriorated. Her heart is not used to pumping this hard. The blood rushing down her leg continues to bring the same sharp clawing pain that has shown up everyday since the unfortunate incident.

Mission start time: 1pm
Arrival at Evans: 3:30pm

She talks to Deb, Judey, and Angie. Her mom and she decide to wait for perimeter bus.

It never comes.

Two reverse perimeters. Two hills. No perimeter.

Finally they get a ride from Judey, the stat manager, and her son, Will. Much appreciated.

In other silly news, Frances uses too much soap in the shower, falls off her exercise ball in the tub and slams body to the tub floor. Bam! Nice move, Frances.
