on religion

I went to mass for the first time in my life tonight.

It didn't really move me, and I just don't understand the point of religion.

But that doesn't mean I am shutting it out entirely. I'm open to hearing all beliefs and will decide if I find something that I believe in. Or, if I ever get married, convert to his faith, if he happens to be very religious.

Yep, I'm gonna take my time.

* one important job was looking after braddie: i had to make sure he didn't drink too much; so i kept making sure he wasn't, but apparently, i have no idea how i did this, but i had forgotten and was talking to a group of people when it hit me that i hadn't checked up on him in awhile, so i went to go check and caught him at the exact moment he was about to pour more champagne into his cup, so yeah, it was kinda weird, but i had to do it for margie's sake...

* and then a lot of talking afterwards, learned a ton about the danish and swedish languages
